I'm a panera junkie and this location is painfully slow. Been there twice once at 8:15Pm and once at 4:30pm. Not busy at all but the food prep is so slow! I go to Elgin at lunch rush and they are faster. Pick up the pace please!!

First to review?! Holla! Did you know that Panera has added a Cuban chicken panini to their menu? Pretty good, indeed. Description: All-natural, antibiotic-free chicken, smoked, lean ham, sweet and spicy pickle chips, Swiss, chipotle mayo & sun-dried tomato ale mustard on their housemade Focaccia. Verdict: it hit the spot! No, it can't compare to an authentic Cuban, but it was definitely tasty and kept away the hunger pangs for hours afterward. Free refills and free wi-fi make this a great spot to get work done!

See previous review re: $10 certificate to make up for gnarly caesar salad. The certificate never arrived. Bogus customer service. The only reason I'm giving it two stars instead of one is that their goodwill bucket with me is still pretty full for their corporate citizenship during the summer storm of 2011. Come on, Panera. You can do better. I've witnessed you better. Step up.

As far as Paneras go, this one is good. Service is quick. There's nothing extraordinary about it, nor is there anything terrible.

Horrible customer service. Out of several different breads and soups at dinner time. Restaurant was dirty looked like it hadn't been cleaned all day. Shift supervisor was very rude about me asking for a refund on the soup I ordered that they were out of. Worst Panera experience ever.

I love this place. It's a home away from home. It is a great gathering place. In the past, they even provided free fresh bagels for a fund raiser for kids in Haiti. They provide a meeting room when a special gathering takes place. The coffee is great and I love the salads and tomato soup. I'm very happy Panera came to Fox River Grove, Il.

Well, I can't complain too much about this Panera. It is actually pretty good - Fox River Grove is such a small town and has very little to offer because of its lack in size. This is nice in case I am craving carbs, or soup, or maybe even some of their breakfast items. In fact I even had Panera today. I had their baked potato soup and it was so delicious. Also, their Tuna Salad on Honey Wheat is the best! =D I highly recommend it. The staff is also really great, always friendly, upbeat, and helpful! =)

No stars for a reason...both times I have been to this panera I didn't get all my food....then they refuse a refund

I've been living in the FRG area for a few years and have frequented this Panera location many times. Recently, they had a change in management which has greatly improved the customer service. Each staff member now seems like they enjoy their job and strive to provide great service to the customers. I look forward to returning to this location again soon!

I'm a Panera fan and unlike many of the reviewers, my service experience at this Panera has been pretty good so far. A recent order with chicken and cream cheese (I don't recall what it was specifically called) was fair - but it looked like they made it to corporate specs, so I can't put that on the local store. I guess the real test will be when I order some brownies there - brownies are my Panera "food of choice". The soups are pretty good as well. I'll be back now and then.

Always good place for bread bowl soup ..... Or a quick breakfast not necessarily fast food

It still gets a 2. Mgr read my in line survey detailing the cost ($38), the guest amount and so on, offered to have us come back. I got a whopping $10. That could hardly pay of one of their salads now. I think we'll skip going to Panera. After reading the other yelp reviews, I'm not surprised why they don't have great reviews.

This review is for the catering and delivery service. I used their online ordering tool to order lunch for 12 in a business meeting. Not only did it come on time, but the person who delivered it was very friendly and asked for feedback on the tool as it was new. It was great to know that the employee actually interested in making the experience better. The food was as expected from Panera, which was great. I won't hesitate to use the online tool again in the future!

The staff seems stressed.... especially the manager or the lady with an accent seems very uptight. Food is always good as we are regular customers. We will bw back but not for the staff.

This location sucks! I have given them multiple tries because I love panera and they are the closest location to my house. The last two times I ordered the strawberry salad with no chicken and made sure to emphasize the no chicken and both times when I got home there was chicken and their chicken isn't the big chunks you can pull off they're tiny bits that you have to sit and pick through I'm pregnant so the chicken makes me so sick the salad was covered in the chicken I had to toss it not to mention they normally have a great fruit cup with blueberries strawberries canteloupe and pineapple I heard the manager tell the person filling my order to only do pineapple and strawberries because she didn't see anything else prepped even though another employee said there was more cut up in the back to pay (3$) and not even get all the fruit is ridiculous! and not to mention they didn't include my bread with the soup so to pay almost $13 for meal for one person and have so many mess ups is absolutely ridiculous! I will never return to this location!

This panera is bad. Go to another location. I got to go, and was not going far, soup was cold and the grilled chicken caesar salad was missing the chicken. Never had this happen before at any panera, soup is always hot and they get the orders right. Stay away.

I do business with Panera in Fox River Grove because they generously donate items to a local non-profit hospice.

Had the Thai chopped salad. Hmm. little boring, barely any cilantro and funky spice after taste. Will not order again. Who knows could be the pregnancy hormones...

I've experienced a lot of cafes and restaurants in the area. I haven't received any differentiating levels of service at any local establishment...until now. I've been going to this Panera for a couple years - a couple times per week as I like to get out of the office to work. Recently my wife had our third baby and I brought the other two boys in for lunch - they asked about it - and ended up giving me my wife's favorite salad & a pastery on the house to take back to her at the hospital. I'm a big fan of anyone that truly develops a relationship with their customers.
